Biometric Information Policy & Consent

Scope & Position

Candidate video/audio may reveal biometric identifiers. Vidintro processes such data solely to host and deliver recordings to the Employer for recruitment. We do not sell biometric data or perform facial recognition or emotion analysis.

Retention & Destruction

• Videos: auto-delete 30 days after submission.
• No biometric templates are extracted; operational metadata (timestamps/IPs/view logs) auto-deletes 90 days after submission.
• Backups: purge on a rolling basis.
• Earlier deletion: on Employer instruction or where required by law.

Use & Disclosure Limits

Disclosed only to the Employer, authorised users, limited share-link viewers (strict limits), listed sub-processors, or as required by law.

Consent Where Required (e.g., IL/TX/WA)

Where local law requires consent before collection, Vidintro captures a single pre-record checkbox with timestamp/IP/logs. Candidates may request deletion via info@vidintro.io (we route to the Employer and act per their instruction or statutory requirements).
